Corporate Finance Connections is a limited company formed to provide a
range of services to corporate finance teams in the UK. It was based upon years
of experience running corporate finance teams as well as experience as a Finance
Director employing corporate finance advisers and raising institutional finance.
Corporate Finance Connections formation was based on a number of principles:
| Time and costs can be saved by providing a number of web based and other services to members |
| By working together in a network, professionals may be able to increase the opportunities to originate, develop and complete transactions |
| There is a need for specialist knowledge which increasingly resides in small specialist firms who can provide services to other corporate finance teams |
| Creating a community of corporate financiers will provide a strong marketing opportunity |
| The number of people using the internet to search for information is increasing, aided by the growth in broadband |
| There is a substantial amount of useful information available to
advisers and their prospective clients but it can be time consuming and sometimes difficult to find |
| A comprehensive online directory would be useful for both potential clients and fellow professionals |
| There is the opportunity of creating a web based hub or one stop shop for those looking for corporate finance advice |
The early development of Corporate Finance Connections has been funded by our
investors. From 1 April it will move to a subscription basis although all
new members have a free 3 month trial period.

The site and technology has been supplied by
RawServe Limited, a company working very
closely with us in the development of this site.
Further partnerships will be sought to help establish the network, particularly
from publishers, PR agencies and other providers of services to the Corporate
Finance Community. We shall be looking for representatives in each region
to develop and promote the membership of the network.
